Day Trip Tour in the UK
1. Our Details
Your day trip tour is with Miki Travel Limited [hereinafter “MTL” or “us”], Company Number 01509274, our Registered Office is Vintners’ Place, 68 Upper Thames Street, London EC4V 3BJ.
2. Terms and Conditions
2.1 When you book your day trip tour you are guaranteeing that you are aged 18 or over and have the authority to book for and accept on behalf of all persons named on the booking confirmation these terms and conditions. Anyone aged under 18 on your day trip tour must be accompanied by an adult. You are directly responsible to Miki Travel Limited for the payment of the total day trip tour price and if applicable, and where appropriate, for the cancellation charges.
2.2 These terms and conditions along with the relevant details in the booking confirmation sets out the entire agreement between us for your day trip tour. Please spend some time reading these terms and conditions. When you make a booking for a day trip tour, you expressly agree to these Terms and Conditions.
3. Booking/Price
3.1 You must ensure all information you give us in your booking form is correct.
3.2 We will use the personal data you provide to us in line with our Privacy Notice.
3.3 A binding agreement between all persons named on the booking confirmation and Miki Travel Limited will exist as soon as we issue our booking confirmation which details exactly what is booked for you. You must pass on any information we give you to everyone travelling on this day trip tour.
3.4 Please check your booking confirmation carefully.
3.5 Prices are subject to change until your booking has been confirmed.
3.6 Prices do not include gratuities.
4. Payment
4.1 When you book your day trip tour, full payment is required at the time of the booking.
4.2 Mistakes can happen, so if any price on your booking confirmation or our booking systems is obviously wrong, a booking made based on that price won’t be valid, we can cancel it and refund you unless you wish to pay the correct price.
5. Changes/Cancellation at your request
5.1. You will be able to cancel your booking or make changes (only if you wish to opt for a different day trip tour on the same day) to your booking up to 5 working days (not including Saturdays and Sundays and public holidays) prior to the departure date and time of your day trip tour.
5.2. You will need to confirm the cancellation/the change in writing to the following email address: mikieurope@group-miki.com, quoting your booking reference number.
5.3.If you wish to change the date of your day trip tour, you will have to cancel your initial booking by notifying MTL in writing within 5 working days prior to the departure date and time of your day trip tour and make a new booking.
5.4. In the event of a change request, we will endeavour to make this change, but it may not always be possible. You will have to pay an administration fee of £ 10 per change and may have to pay the additional cost. Once a booking is amended, all bookings will be non-refundable and non-changeable.
5.5. A full refund will be made in the event of cancellation notified within this time frame. If you cancel or request a change of your booking outside of these 5 working days, a 100% “cancellation fee” will apply. It means that you will receive no refund for this late cancellation. We will endeavour to proceed with any refund promptly and it will be made using the same payment method used when you made your booking.
5.6. Note that certain day trip tours may not be cancellable or/changeable after a booking has been made and may incur a cancellation charge of 100%.
6. If we cancel/change your day trip tour
6.1. We reserve the right to cancel your day trip tour due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances or any other reason. We will endeavour to propose an alternative day trip tour on the same day or refund you if this is not possible.
6.2 We may have to make minor changes to your day trip tour such as change of pick up point or coach type or size. Order of the day trip tour is subject to change and dependant on traffic or weather conditions. We will not be liable for any change. In addition, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to enter some places of interest due to various circumstances.
7. Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances
7.1 This means events beyond the control of a party, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. Examples of events beyond our control are: war, the threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity or its consequences, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, health risks, pandemics, unavoidable and unforeseeable technical problems with transport, closed or congested roads, actual or potential severe weather conditions, the imposition of sanctions or other Governmental action and any other similar events including. sudden closure of a place of interest.
7.2 We will always use reasonable endeavours to provide you with an alternative on the day.
7.3 Note that MTL will not be liable for cancellation, rescheduling or any delay, adjustment to a departure or itinerary in such circumstances and no compensation shall be due.
8. Accidents
Except for losses that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law, our liability to you is limited to a maximum of the refund of the cost of your booking.
9. Complaints
9.1. It is very rare for things to go wrong but if they do, you must inform our representative straight away so they can solve the issue. A report will need to be completed at the time. If our representative isn’t available or in an emergency event, you should contact us on our emergency phone line, open 7/24, at the following number + 44 (0) 77 88 58 49 86.
9.2. After your day trip tour, you can contact us at the following email address: mikieurope@group-miki.com within 28 days of the completion of the day trip tour so we can investigate properly. Otherwise, we won’t be able to investigate the complaint or provide refunds after this period.
10. Miscellaneous
10.1. You should ensure that you are fit to travel and observe all UK government Covid 19 restrictions. In the unlikely event, you become ill on the day trip tour, you must follow procedures as laid down by applicable law.
10.2. Seating on coaches cannot be assigned in advance. You must wear the seatbelt safety at all time where they are provided in the coach.
10.3. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is prohibited on all coaches. For safety reason, hot drinks and food are not allowed on the coach.
10.4. Passengers are responsible for their own personal belongings. Please do not leave valuable items on the coach as we will not be liable for any loss or damage unless due to our employee’s negligence, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) to a maximum of the refund of the day trip tour price.
10.5. We will not delay the departure of the coach if you arrive late at your departure point or on advised times on the day of the day trip tour. You will need to make your own arrangements for re-joining the day trip tour or your return journey at your own expense. We are not liable for any loss or expense suffered by passengers because they arrive late.
10.6. You will need to bring your printed e-ticket or show the link with the E-ticket visible from your phone, on the day with proof of ID.
10.7. We reserve the right to terminate the day trip tour should it be our reasonable opinion that your behaviour is likely to cause distress, danger, offence or damage to others. Our responsibilities to you will cease at such a termination. We will not be responsible for your return travel arrangements and will not pay compensation, costs or refunds for the curtailment of your day trip tour or any member of your party who cannot or does not wish to travel without you.
10.8. Some day trip tours will be supplied directly by a partner, a third-party supplier. You will be bound by the applicable supplier’s terms and conditions. However, to the extent that the supplier terms conflict with these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. 11. Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions applicable to your booking are governed by English Law, and the jurisdiction of the English Courts. You may however choose the law and jurisdiction of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there and wish to do so.
