Barcelona

Barcelona, the cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region, is known for its art and architecture. The fantastical Sagrada Família church and other modernist landmarks designed by Antoni Gaudí dot the city. Museu Picasso and Fundació Joan Miró feature modern art by their namesakes. City history museum MUHBA includes several Roman archaeological sites.

Montserrat

The mountain Montserrat with the Benedictine Monastery Santa Maria de Montserrat is located about 45 km northwest of Barcelona. Already from far away, the 1,236 meter high mountain offers a magnificent view. Even from the top you can experience the panoramic view far into the hinterland of Catalonia.

ITINERARY

Day 1

Barcelona


Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Barcelona by private car. Our driver will be waiting for you at the arrival lobby with your name board, and take you directly to the hotel.
Free after the arrival using POPGuide.
48 hours hop-off hop-on bus will be provided to you to move around Barcelona.
*Note 1: Hotel is available for check-in only after 15:00
*Note 2: Driver will wait for you max 1 hour after landing time.

Day 2

Barcelona


Breakfast at the hotel
Possible option: group visit to Sagrada Familia

Visit the most important monument in Barcelona. Admire the mastery of Gaudí and enjoy the abundant symbolism of his work. Learn about the history and importance of the Sagrada Familia from your local guide.
Discover how nature influenced and inspired Gaudi's wonderful work. Do not miss this wonderful work!

Day 3

Barcelona, Montserrat

Breakfast at the hotel

Morning group excursion to Montserrat.

Discover one of the most mystical Catalan wonders in this half-day tour. See the virgin popularly known as La Moreneta in the Basilica of Montserrat. Listen to one of the oldest children's choirs in Europe (according to its calendar). Walk around the sanctuary and imagine the different lives of the local monks through the centuries.



Day 4

Barcelona

Pick up at the hotel by private car and departure for the airport. Our driver will be waiting for you at the hotel
lobby with your name board
(Pick up time will be 3 hours before your flight departure)
