London

London, a city created by the Romans over 2000 years ago, is the capital of the United Kingdom and is today one of the most visited cities in the world. A tourist, whether they prefer, art, monuments, culture, attractions, will find something to their heart's desire. The poet Samuel Johnson once said: "When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life".

Day 2

London, Oxford

After breakfast, you will transfer independently to the London Paddington station where you will take the train to the iconic city of Oxford.

Oxford is one of the most famous cities in Europe. Its renowned university, the oldest in the UK, and its incredible architecture have made it a unique place. For this reason, Oxford is also known as "the city of dreamy spires".

We suggest you start your visit to Oxford from the most famous place of the city: Christ Church College & Cathedral. It is undoubtedly the best known and most beautiful university college, as well as being the oldest: the building dates back to medieval times.

At certain times you can visit its interior and get lost in its most emblematic environments, such as the dining room (inspiration for the creators of the magical world of Harry Potter), the staircase, the Cathedral and the magnificent War Memorial Garden.

We also recommend visiting the covered market, located in a beautiful building of the seventeenth century, which retains all the authenticity of a classic market, with original and surprising views and

the Ashmolean Museum, where you can learn about the history of science. Thanks to its collections and its antiquity it is one of the most important in the city and among the most renowned in the world.

Do not miss the opportunity to visit the inner courtyards of the different colleges of the city, one more beautiful than the other.

An example is Magdalena College, which has been attended by famous people such as Oscar Wilde. Or Merton College, attended by celebrities like J. R. R. Tolkien, T. S. Elliot or K. Kristofferson.

Don’t forget to take the typical Ben’s Cookie (a giant and delicious cookie that you will then enjoy in a wide variety of flavours).

In the afternoon, you will take the train back to London and you will transfer independently at your hotel.

The rest of the evening will be at leisure.

Transfer at your hotel independently.

Day 3

London, Bath, Stonehenge

After breakfast,  you will transfer independently to the coach station where you will start your full-day tour to Stonehenge and Bath.

The first part of your journey will bring you to Bath, a beautiful city that has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Located in the south-east of the English countryside, along with the city of Bristol is almost 3,000 years old.

Bath is a small city and you can easily visit it on foot.

You can choose to either enter the Roman Baths or enjoy free time to explore the city - the choice is yours! At the Roman Baths, you will have the opportunity to visit one of the most famous and important Roman sites in Europe.

If you decide to enjoy free time in the city, we recommend you visit Bath Abbey,  the cathedral and abbey of the city. It is an Anglican church consecrated to Saints Peter and Paul and is a splendid example of English Gothic. At the back of the cathedral, you will find the beautiful Parade Gardens, overlooking the river Avon. We recommend you to enjoy a cruise on the river.

Glide along the Avon River in a traditional 1960s Broads Cruiser, complete with a ventilated roof openable for the hottest days and a cosy coal fire for the winter months. Along the way, past Bath’s landmarks such as Pulteney Bridge, St. Johns Church and Pulteney Bridge Weir and enjoy the live commentary of your experienced skipper.

After the visit to Bath, you will head towards Stonehenge.

With a 5000 years history, Stonehenge has many different meanings for people today. It is a wonder of the world, a spiritual place and a source of inspiration. This mysterious circle of stones is also an engineering masterpiece whose construction would have required enormous efforts by hundreds of people, well organized but equipped only with simple tools and technologies.

After the visit to Stonehenge, you will take the coach back to London.
